Fairfield University Athletics

General:  Lauren Casadonte joins the Fairfield defensive unit in her first season with the program.

Off the Field: Casadonte is a Management major.

High School: Casadonte earned four varsity letters at Half Hollow Hills High School West, where she helped the Colts to the 2011 Big Six Championship.  Over the course of her career she helped the team to 36 victories, with 251 ground balls and 230 caused turnovers.  Casadonte aided the team’s offense as well, touching net 43 times and handing out 26 assists in her career.  She served as a team captain both her junior and senior years with the team.  As a senior Casadonte picked up 94 ground balls and had 86 caused turnovers as she was selected All-County.  She also earned the Dellacave Award, presented annually to the top athlete in Suffolk County, as well as earning the school’s Athlete of the Year award and lacrosse team MVP.  Casadonte lettered in both winter track and soccer, earning 12 varsity letters in all. A member of the National Honor Society, Casadonte was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Lauren Anne Casadonte is the daughter of Ginny and Donald Casadonte.  She has an older brother, Donald, Jr., that plays lacrosse at SUNY Geneseo, and a younger sister, Jennifer.
