Biography
2022: Appeared in all 14 games with 13 starts in the midfield…Scored 16 goals and dished out a team-leading 21 assists to rank seventh in the CAA (1.50 assists per game)…Scored four goals in the March 1 win at Sacred Heart…Posted five points in back-to-back home outings against Harvard and Quinnipiac…Scored two goals with an assist in the April 2 win over Hofstra…Had four points in the win at UMass.
2021: CAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Played eight games, averaging a point per outing with four goals and four assists…Notched a goal and an assist in the season opener at Providence…Had two helpers at Delaware…Fiinished the campaign with a hat trick at Hofstra.
2020: Appeared in five games…Scored a goal in the win over LIU…Handed out an assist in the win over Quinnipiac...Fired four shots, all of which were on goal.
2019: CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll…Saw action in five games…Posted a goal and an assist in the March 5 win over Siena.
Kyle Borda (Kensington, Md.) played in the midfield at the Gonzaga College High School, where he earned All-WCAC First Team laurels and an All-Met Honorable Mention nod. He helped lead the Eagles to three Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Championships during his scholastic career. Borda will major in Finance at the Dolan School of Business.
Borda's older brother Matt was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starting defensemen for the Stags, graduating in 2017 ranked seventh all-time in program history with 35 caused turnovers. Additionally, Kyle's older brother Michael is entering his senior season as a defenseman at Michigan.
