Biography

General: Alex Clark is a junior member of the Stags midfield corp.  She has appeared in 38 games over the course of her Fairfield career, with one start.  Clark has netted 11 goals and handed out four assists as a collegiate player, adding eight ground balls and five draw controls. 

Off the Field: Clark is a Communication major.  She earned a spot in the Athletics Department 3.0 Club in the Spring semester of both 2010 and 2011.  

2011: Clark appeared in 12 games, all as a reserve, during her junior season.  She equaled a personal-best with four goals, two assists and six points.  Her first tally of the season came on a free position chance in the Stags win over Sacred Heart.  She racked up three points in the league win over Siena, with two goals.  Clark followed that outing with a goal in the win over Niagara and then an assist against Canisius, for five points in a three-game span.

2010: Clark appeared in 13 games during her sophomore campaign, making the first start of her collegiate career in the league win at Niagara.  She touched net twice in that outing, her first career multi-goal game.  Over the course of the season Clark put up six points, with goals against Iona during the regular season and against versus Siena in the MAAC semifinal.  Her first career assist came against St. Mary’s (CA) at home, feeding Brittany Bare. 

2009: Clark made 13 appearances as a reserve during her rookie season with the Stags.  She finished the year with three points, all goals, and three draw controls.  Clark netted her first collegiate goal in the Stags win over Iona.  She would go on to tally goals in wins over Manhattan and LIU as well.

High School: Clark earned three varsity letters at Ridgewood High School, where she netted 143 career points.  She led the squad to a Bergan County Championship each of those seasons.  As a senior captain, Clark earned First Team All-Suburban and North Jersey, as well as being named to the New Jersey State All-Star Team.  She was also selected the team MVP her final season with the Squad, after earning First Team All-North Jersey as a junior.

Personal: Alexandra Jane Clark is the daughter of Maryon and Bob Clark.  She has three siblings.
