Biography

2014-15: Co-captain...Played in all 12 tournaments, totaling 22 rounds…Placed fifth with a 161 (80-81) in the Stags’ ECAC Championship win…Shot a two-day 162 (77-85) to place ninth as Fairfield won the Delaware State Fall Invitational…Finished fifth with a 159 (77-82) at the Quinnipiac Tri-Match…Won the Hartford Women’s Invitational , leading Fairfield to a team title with a 77…Finished fourth at the MAAC Championship with a 231 (76-74-81).

2013-14: Team Captain ... MAAC All-Academic Team … MAAC Academic Honor Roll … WGCA All-American Scholar … Appeared in seven tournaments, playing 15 rounds and averaging 80 strokes per 18 holes. She placed 16th overall at the Tignanelli Towson Invitational after shooting a 158. She placed ninth overall at the ECAC Championships, carding a 168 over two rounds. She captured the Delaware State Invitational, by shooting a 154 (79-75). She placed 18th overall at the Rutgers Invitational after posting a 155 over two days. She took third at the Quinnipiac Class, posting a 161. She finished as the runner-up at the Navy Spring Class, carding a 167. At the MAAC Championships, she placed seventh overall with a three-day score of 249.

2012-13: MAAC All-Academic Team ... Ritzmann played in eight tournaments as a sophomore and completed 17 rounds with an average of 83 strokes per round. She shot three rounds of 78 or better on the year, with a season-best 76 on her way to winning the Delaware State event in the spring. She finished tied for 10th at the 2013 MAAC Championships, shooting a final round 81.

2011-12: WGCA All-American Scholar ... Ritzmann played in seven tournaments as a rookie, completing 17 rounds, and averaging 82.6 strokes per round. She has three top-11 finishes in those seven outings, including a runner-up effort at the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational, where she shot a 54-hole score of 236. She followed that with an 11th place tie at the MAAC Championships, shooting 249. Each of those tournaments saw her card a season-best round of 77 in the final 18 holes. Ritzmann shot five rounds of 80 or better on the season, including a 78 in the final round of the ECAC Division I Women's Championship in October.

High School: Ritzmann earned four varsity letters at Fairport High School, leading the squad to the 2011 Section V State Championship. She served as team captain both her junior and senior season. Ritzmann is a two-time All-State selection, as well as being named the All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year twice. She was also a member of the National Honor Society at Fairport.

Personal: Daughter of Julie and Gary Ritzmann, who played soccer at Manhattan College. She has two younger sisters: Kathryn and Claire. Major is chemistry (pre-med) with a minor in math. Member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the Health Professions National Honor Society.
