2020-21: MAAC All-Academic Team…Competed and scored for the Stags at the 2020-21 MAAC Championship.
2019: MAAC All-Academic Team…Competed in five meets…Fairfield’s top finisher at the MAAC Championship…Ran the fastest 6K of her career at the NCAA Northeast Region Championships with a time of 23:31.2…Also set a new personal standard in the 3K, clocking in at 10:56.1 at the CCSU Mini Meet.
2018: MAAC Academic Honor Roll…Ran in all seven meets, leading the team in three of them…Posted her best 5K time at the Ted Owen Invitational with a time of 18:51.9…Ran a 23:58.5 at the 6K MAAC Championship.
High School: Second Team All-State Group IV, Runner-up for the New Jersey State Championships in the 4x800m relay...Team captain for indoor and outdoor track as a senior....A National Honor Society member.
Personal: Daughter of Ron and Mari Melao...Has two brother, Ronnie and Matthew.
