2024: MAAC All-Academic…Played 114 sets…Led the team with 398 digs, averaging 3.49 digs per frame…Had double-digit digs in 20 outings, including 13 apiece in each end of the Stags’ MAAC Championship win…Had three matches with over 20 digs, highlighted by 27 in the five-set victory at Canisius in October…Served up 13 aces with 96 assists…Dished out eight assists in the matches against High Point and Saint Peter’s…Recorded kills from the back row against West Virginia, Niagara and Rider.

2023: Co-captain...MAAC All-Championship Team…CSC Academic All-District…MAAC All-Academic…Four-time MAAC Libero of the Week (10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 11/7)…Appeared in all 102 sets as the Stags’ libero…Averaged 3.76 digs per set…Also landed 20 service aces with 83 assists and a pair of kills…Had double-digit digs in 24 of 29 matches…Reached 20 digs in the four-set win over CCSU and had a season-best 25 in the October win over Quinnipiac. Averaged 4.3 digs per set in Fairfield’s two MAAC postseason wins…Had four assists and nine digs in the NCAA Championship First Round at Purdue in her home state of Indiana...Graduated in May of 2024 with a degree in Accounting.

2022: Team captain…MAAC All-Academic Team...MAAC Libero of the Week (Nov. 8)…Appeared in 102 sets…The only Stag to play in all 32 matches…Led the team with 3.73 digs per set…Reached double-digit digs in 20 matches, including a season-best 28 in the MAAC Championship Quarterfinal win over Niagara…Landed 26 service aces…Filled out her statline with 81 assists and five kills…Named MAAC Libero of the Week after posting 23 digs in five sets in a 2-0 MAAC road weekend at Iona and Manhattan.

2021 (Fall): MAAC All-Academic Team…MAAC Libero of the Week (Sept. 7)…Appeared in 31 matches totaling 103 sets of work at libero and DS…Led the team with 350 digs, averaging 3.40 digs per set…Also served up 19 aces…Distributed 49 assists and dropped in one kill…Reached double-digit digs in 18 matches, including four matches with 20+ digs…Had a career-best 24 digs in the four-set win over Lafayette on Sept. 11…Had nine digs and an ace in the MAAC Championship Match against Rider.

2021 (Spring): Appeared in all 10 matches totaling 35 sets as a libero and DS…Averaged 1.83 digs per set…Also landed five aces and handed out 10 assists…Recorded a kill in a win at Iona on March 14…Had a career-best 15 digs in the first of two wins at Niagara on March 18.

Before Fairfield: A libero from Fishers, Ind., Kyla Berg played in the back row at Hamilton Southeastern High School. She was an Academic All-State honoree and a summa cum laude student.
