Biography
2020-21: MAAC All-Academic Team…Appeared 13 games while averaging 12.2 minutes per contest…Connected on 11 3-pointers while shooting .314 from long range…Poured in a career-high five 3-pointers at Hofstra with a personal best 15 points (12/6)…Recorded a career-high eight blocks including three at Siena (12/11).
2019: MAAC All-Academic Team…Made 22 appearances and shot a career-high .345 from 3-point range…10 of 11 field goals were from behind the arc…Hit two crucial 3-pointers in the second half against Canisius (1/16)…Also swished through a pair of long range shots at Saint Peter’s (2/18).
2018-19: MAAC All-Academic Team…Checked into 24 games while averaging 9.1 minutes, 1.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game…Poured in a career-high 11 points on 3-for-6 shooting from deep at Dartmouth (12/9)…Hit a personal-best three 3-pointers at Dartmouth and against Saint Peter’s (1/15)…Helped defensively in the guard position with 39 rebounds on the season, including seven against LIU Brooklyn. Also collected two steals, two blocks, and two assists in that contest (11/13).
2017-18: Checked into 21 games during her rookie season, averaging 3.6 minutes per contest…Connected on her first collegiate field goal attempt in the season opener against Richmond (11/10)…Also hit a 3-pointer at Boston College (12/3) and a field goal against Marist (2/14)…Swatted six blocks on the year including two against Saint Peter’s (1/15).
BEFORE FAIRFIELD: A four-year starter at Winona High School, Nibbelink was a two-time All-Conference selection and a finalist for the Miss. Minnesota Basketball award...She was a two-time All-State Tournament Team member and helped Winona advance to their first state championship in school history... Led the then fifth-ranked Winona Winhawks to a 64-51 victory over Mankato East. In that contest, Nibbelink recorded a career-high 33 points and tied a school record with seven 3-pointers...She was named the Winona Daily News Player of the Year and All-State selection...She holds the school records for most games played in a career and is the best shooter in school history holding the standard for most 3-pointers in a career and single season...Helped her squad post the most victories, points, and 3-pointers in their history.
