Jasmine Jenkins enters her first season as an assistant coach for the women's basketball program. Jenkins spent the last four seasons at Davidson helping the Wildcats to three-straight winning seasons and a spot in the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) in the 2024-25 season.
Jenkins also served as the recruiting coordinator for the Wildcats, helping sign five All-Atlantic-10 student-athletes who combined for seven All-Conference awards.
Included in those All-Conference performers was Charlise Dunn who was recently selected in the second round of the WNBA Draft by the Toronto Tempo after earning three All-Atlantic 10 awards including last year's First Team.
The Wildcats totaled 58 wins over the last three seasons including a 21-win mark last season the most victories by Davidson in over a decade.
A four-year player and 2016 graduate of Vanderbilt University, Jenkins was honored as a WBCA 30 under 30 recipient during the 2022-23 season. She also served as an assistant coach at Pomona-Pitzer, an NCAA Division III member institution, where she helped lead the Sagehens to a 15-11 record in 2019-20, including a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semifinal appearance.
Prior to her stint at Pomona-Pitzer, Jenkins was a graduate assistant coach at Waynesburg University for one season, aiding in the development of three All-Conference student-athletes during the 2018-19 campaign.
A native of Gainesville, Ga., Jenkins played in 119 games during her career as a Commodore, earning SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition her senior year while finishing third on the team in assists and fifth in steals per game.
