2019: All-MAAC Second Team…NEIBA Second Team…Drafted in 15th Round by the Arizona Diamondbacks…MAAC All-Academic Team…Completed the final season of his collegiate career with a 4-3 record and a 3.16 ERA in 77.0 innings with 79 strikeouts…Ranked second in the MAAC in batting average against as opposing hitters batted .201…Also ranked third in the conference in ERA (3.16) and ninth in strikeouts (79)…Fired eight innings while allowing two earned runs in the win in the MAAC Championship opener against Monmouth (5/22)…Struck out a career-high 11 batters in six innings at Niagara (5/4)…Threw seven shutout innings while striking out eight in his final regular season start against Quinnipiac (5/11)…Struck out seven or more batters in five starts…Went six or more innings in eight of his 14 starts…Had seven or more punchouts in three-straight outings (3/15 – 3/30).

2018: MAAC All-Academic Team….Enjoyed a breakout season in the weekend rotation with a 2.98 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 48.1 innings…Supported a team-best 2.43 ERA in conference games…Picked up his first win of the season by hurling 5.2 scoreless innings of relief allowing two hits and striking out seven against Rider (4/8)…Struck out at least six batters in five of his six outings against MAAC teams including a career-high eight at Marist (4/29)…Tossed seven shutout innings while allowing two hits, one walk, and seven strikeouts against Iona (5/5).

2017: Made seven starts as the team’s midweek starter, recording a 4.85 ERA in those appearances…Struck out a career-high seven batters in 4.1 innings at Bethune-Cookman (3/15)…Tossed five innings without allowing an earned run against another eventual NCAA Tournament Team as he picked up his first collegiate win at Yale (4/5)…Also went five innings without giving up an earned run at Stony Brook (4/26).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: A pitcher from Tuckahoe High School, Pope was named the Section I MVP in 2015 while earning all section honors during his junior and senior seasons. He amassed a 2.35 ERA in 2016 with 64 strikeouts in 41.2 innings pitched. His most memorable outing came when he retired the first 13 hitters he faced and threw six scoreless innings against Solomon Schechter to win the Class C Title.
