2022:  Tahlia Brown has spent time at all infield positions during her career, entering the lineup as a second baseman and a first baseman this season. She was flawless in the field this year, cleanly handling all 40 chances with 35 putouts and five assists. Offensively, Brown posted a .200 batting average which comes off 13 hits in her 34 appearances. She registered a pair of multi-hit games with two singles at UConn and versus Saint Peter’s. The infielder tallied three doubles in 2022 and added four RBI during the campaign. She batted .176 against the MAAC during the regular season with six hits and two doubles.

2021: Brown earned 14 games with most of her appearances coming as a pinch hitter. She picked up three hits in 13 at-bats for a .231 batting average. Her ability to work the count resulted in three walks to give the infielder a .375 on- base percentage. Her best single game performance came against Saint Peter’s when she picked up two hits in three at-bats on April 23. She also collected a hit against Quinnipiac on April 28. She collected one start out of her 14 appearances and made the most of it by registering two hits in three at-bats against Saint Peter’s. She played in three of the four games against the Peacocks but came in as a defensive substitution without any at-bats in two of those dates.

2020: Brown continued her run as a starting middle infielder for the Stags, playing in all 15 games with 14 starts. She enjoyed a six-game hitting streak that started with a single against Purdue and ran through March 1 when she singled against Butler. All in all, Brown stroked at least one hit in eight contests including three games with two hits (North Carolina, East Carolina, and Bethune-Cookman). Her .324 batting average placed fourth on the team, finishing with a double, five RBI, and 12 hits in her 15 games. Defensively, Brown was nearly flawless with one error in 43 attempts (.977 fielding percentage) that broke down to 30 putouts and 12 assists.

2019: Brown worked her way into 35 games this year with 21 start, splitting time between the middle infield positions and third base. She finished the regular-season with a .236 batting average that included three doubles and eight RBI. She had a hit in 12 of her 31 appearances with five of those games including two hits. Over a six-game stretch, she had a hit in five contests with eight hits in 13 at-bats (.615) from March 9-17 which included multi-hit games against Stetson and both ends of a doubleheader at Hartford. Brown batted .125 in MAAC play (2 for 16) during the year.

Before Fairfield: \Brown brings a great deal of experience to the Fairfield softball program after excelling on the diamond for Rancho Cucamonga High School. The infielder owned a .353 career batting average at the high school which led to a .438 on-base percentage. She was responsible for 50 runs during her career, posting 24 RBI and scoring an additional 26 runs.
