Biography
2026: Sarah Bielski earned a spot on the All-MAAC second team and the MAAC All-Rookie squad after batting a team-high .345 through the regular season. She made an immediate impact on the Stags offense by starting her career with seven hits in her first 14 at-bats over four games. She picked up two hits in three of those four games, the first of 12 multi-hit games this season. The four-game hit streak was later surpassed by a seven gamer from March 21 to April 3 7 of 18 - .389) and an eight gamer from April 18 to May 1 (13 of 25 - .420). She posted a hit in 30 of her 47 appearances and reached base via hit, walk, or HBP in 38 games. Her team leading on-base percentage of .477 was assisted by her drawing 19 walks and being hit by 12 pitches, which ranked 32nd in the country for hit by pitch per game (.27 per game) at the end of the regular season. In the field, Bielski made just two errors in 43 chances as an infielder, registering 33 putouts and eight assists.
Before Fairfield: Bielski joined the Fairfield softball program following her success at St. Anthony’s High School. There, she finished her career with a .464 career batting average with 127 hits, 46 extra-base hits, and 104 RBI. She earned All-State first team honors in 2022 and 2025 as well as All-Long Island first team laurels in 2024 and 2025. In the classroom, she was a three-time NFCA All-America Scholar as well as a member of the National Honor Society.
