Before Fairfield: Cloberdants joins the Stags softball program after graduating from Huffman Hargrave High School where she lettered in softball. She finished her career with a .420 batting average which included five home runs and 100 RBI. She was one of the team’s top hitters, finishing her career with 140 hits. As a senior, Cloberdants batted .460 with three home runs and 31 RBI. The three homers represented a school record for most in a single season. She also showed her ability to be a clutch hitter, leading the team in batting average during the 2008 playoffs. She posted a .425 mark in that series. With her play, Cloberdants helped Huffman Hargrave capture the District championship in 2010 and 2011 as well as the Sectional title in 2011. The team reached the regional quarterfinals in her junior campaign. Cloberdants also collected several individual awards as two difference positions. In 2011, she earned All-District first team as a catcher after picking up an All-District second team award as a first baseman in 2010. Cloberdants intends to major in Biology and English as a Fairfield University student.
