2026: Lauren Osland became a consistent contributor since she arrived on campus, appearing in 39 of the team’s 51 games this year. She completed the year with a .295 batting average which included a .300 mark in MAAC play (6 for 20). Osland owned a .333 batting average against the MAAC tournament field with three hits in nine at-bats and three RBI, appearing in seven of the 10 games played by the team. She did not had an at-bat in her last 10 appearances, serving as a defensive replacement during the stretch. Osland did not step into the batter’s box since the Central Connecticut on April 15 as she reached base twice a pair of walks.  She posted a hit in 11 games in 2026 which included two-hit, two-RBI performances against New Haven and Quinnipiac. She was successful on the base paths with five steals in seven attempts, scoring 15 runs.

Before Fairfield: Osland committed to Fairfield University after a stellar career at Park High School. She enjoyed a solid career at Park, hitting .400 and leading the team in stolen bases as a senior. She capped her high school career by picking up All-Conference and All-Section honors following the 2025 campaign.
