2023: Kasey Sekula continues to make contributions from the third-base position, starting 25 of 32 appearances at the hot corner. She was a key player in Fairfield’s win over Marist which clinched a spot in this year’s MAAC tournament. The sophomore tied the game with an RBI single in the sixth inning before winning the contest with an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning. She opened the season with three hits in six at-bats with three RBI at the Stetson Invitational, picking up two hits and two RBI against Monmouth and a hit with an RBI versus the host school on the opening day of the season. She reached base 15 times during the season with nearly an even split between her eight hits and six walks plus one hit by pitch which raised her on-base percentage to .288. She batted .333 against MAAC opponents (3 for 9). She capped her season with two appearances in the MAAC Tournament, rating the nod as a pinch hitter against Canisius and the starting designated player in the Iona game.

2022: Sekula made a strong run at the end of the regular season with a hit in six of her final eight games. She secured a hit in three straight games, went hitless in two contests, before gaining another three-game hitting streak. The third baseman batted .350 during the eight-game stretch with seven hits in 20 at-bats. She also scored five of her seven runs during her eight-game run. Sekula posted three multi-hit games which included two against Lehigh, three against Hartford, and two versus Manhattan. Her best individual game was a 3 for 3 day with two RBI in a win over Hartford. Sekula performed well in the field as well, making 20 putouts and adding 46 assists in her 38 appearances.

2021:  Sekula secured an All-Rookie berth following her successful freshman season that saw the third baseman pick up 12 RBI which placed fifth among her teammates. The infielder registered eight of those RBI over the last 13 games which was highlighted by her four RBI in the Quinnipiac doubleheader on April 28 (two RBI in each game). She stroked five extra base hits during the season with four doubles and a home run. She cleared the fence in the team’s MAAC quarterfinal clinching win against Siena. Through her first 14 games, Sekula did not have a hit in 15 at-bats. Over the last 20 appearances, she notched 14 hits in 63 at-bats (.222 batting average). Sekula had one stolen base to her credit which came in her first appearance with the Stags, a March 20 date with Manhattan. She has not attempted another steal since that game.
