Biography
2021: CAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Played and started 10 games on close defense…Picked up 17 ground balls with 12 caused turnovers…Had four caused TOs at Delaware on April 2…Picked up three ground balls on three occasions.
2020: Started all seven games on close defense…Picked up nine ground balls with seven caused turnovers…Had a season-high three ground balls in the win over Quinnipiac…Recorded three caused turnovers in the season-ending victory at Siena.
2019: CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll…Started all 14 games on defense…Collected 17 ground balls with a team-leading 22 caused turnovers, good for fourth in single-season program history…Had five caused turnovers twice, once against Villanova and once against Towson.
2018: Played in 15 games, starting two on close defense. Picked up five ground balls on the year and caused five turnovers.
A 2017 US Lacrosse All-American, George Elmquist was a standout defenseman for Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas. Elmquist also collected All-State laurels in his senior campaign following an All-District showing as a junior. He is a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Joel and Kristie Elmquist...Has a younger brother, Fredrik.
