Biography
2026: Emma Marchese has contributed in a variety of ways but primarily comes into the game as a pinch runner or hitters. She has appeared in 22 games with two starts, getting the nod against Yale (April 8) and Saint Peter’s (May 3). She picked up a pair of hits and a pair of RBI during the season, driving in a run against Sacred Heart and Saint Peter’s. Nine of her 22 games played came against MAAC opponents, including her last four appearances.
2025: Marchese spent most of the season splitting time as a designated player and a pinch hitter with all 13 of her starts coming in the DP position. She put together a stretch that saw her record six hits in six at-bats over a three-game run that included a 1 for 1 day in the second Manhattan game, a 2 for 2 day in the third Manhattan game, and a 3 for 3 effort in the second Merrimack game. As a designated player, she batted .222 with 10 hits in 45 at-bats. As a pinch hitter, she collected one hit in seven plate appearances. Marchese brings a .234 batting average into the postseason, picking up a hit in eight of her 24 games played. Her season totals also include six RBI and a pair of doubles (vs. Manhattan and Niagara).
