Before Fairfield: Delaney Moquin will look to earn innings in the pitching circle for the Stags after earning honors as a pitcher at Silver Lake Regional High School. She captured three Patriot League Most Valuable Player awards as a pitcher, and secured three Patriot League All-Star berths beginning with her sophomore season. She earned the Softball Athlete of the Year from the Boston Globe in 2024. Silver Lake Regional went unbeaten in the Patriot League in 2024 and 2025 and won the Division 2 State Championship. In the classroom, she earned All-Scholastic accolades from the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, and the Patriot Ledger. She ended her career with 775 strikeouts and a 0.75 ERA over her 407 innings pitched along with a .454 batting average, 25 home runs, and 148 RBI.
