2026: Danica Silvestri worked her way into the starting lineup in mid-April as an outfielder, a majority of that time coming from right field. After being in the starting lineup for six of the first 30 games, Silvestri started the last 16 contests. During that 16-game run, she is batting .342 with 13 hits in 38 at-bats. As a reserve, Silvestri owned a .384 batting average with five hits in 13 at-bats. She had three extra base hits this season, two doubles and a triple with nine RBI. She produced a hit in 10 of her last 16 starts including a three-hit effort against Saint Peter’s. She has played flawlessly in the outfield, most from the right field position, by handling all 66 chances in 2026.

2025: Danica Silvestri worked her way into the lineup as the team’s primary left fielder once the team returned to the Northeast in mid-March. She appeared in 30 of the team’s 32 games from March 19 through the MAAC Championship. During the second-half run, Silvestri posted a season-best three-game hitting streak that included the final game against Niagara and both ends of the Sacred Heart doubleheader, registering four hits in seven at-bats with two RBI. She collected a hit in back-to-back games against Lafayette and Penn State which included a three-run homer against the Nittany Lions on March 9. Five of her 13 hits on the season have been for extra bases, recording two doubles, two triples, and a home run. Silvestri drove home a run in six games this year with four of those efforts resulting in multiple RBI – 2 vs. Oakland, 3 vs. Penn State, 2 vs. Niagara, and 2 vs. Siena.

2024: Silvestri appeared in 43 games in her rookie season with 37 coming as a starter. Both her appearances and starts were most by a Fairfield freshman in 2024. She scored 13 runs during the campaign which placed her in a tie for fourth among her teammates. Four of her five RBI came in MAAC play, highlighted by a personal best two RBI at Rider. Defensively, she made just one error in 63 chances for a .984 fielding percentage which ranked second on the team.

Before Fairfield: Silvestri excelled on the softball diamond as well as in the classroom during her four years at Rosary Academy. As an outfielder, Silvestri received a berth to the Trinity League All-League team as a sophomore (honorable mention), junior (first team), and senior (first team). In addition to her All-League status, Silvestri was named to the Orange Country Senior All-Star Team in 2023 as well as the Registr All-County squad. In the classroom, Silvestri was a four-year honor roll student and collected four Scholar-Athlete awards.
