Biography
2026: Caroline Walls contributed primarily as a pinch runner during the regular season, appearing in 14 games overall and seven MAAC contests. She finished the regular season with three runs scored and two stolen bases. Against MAAC opponents, she scored one run (Rider) and stole both of her bases (Merrimack and Rider). She picked up four plate appearances during the year, reaching base once against Siena which was her only at-bat against MAAC foes. Defensively, she collected a pair of putouts in as many chances, making a play against UNC-Greensboro and Yale.
2025: Walls earned nine starts out of her 20 appearances as a rookie with seven nods coming as an outfielder and the other two as a designated player. She picked up her first collegiate hit against Oakland on February 22 which also became her first multi-hit game (2 for 2). She followed up the next day with another hit against Oakland, going 3 for 5 against the team over the two-day stretch. Walls scored four runs in 2025, crossing the plate in her debut against Bethune-Cookman as well as against Canisius, Penn State, and Charleston Southern. She also worked out three walks this year which raised her on-base percentage to .219.
