Biography

2014: Levick played shortstop for nearly all of her 33 appearances this season, 26 of which were part of the starting lineup. She went to bat just 21 times this season, picking up a hit against Northern Illinois. In the field, Levick posted 46 putouts and 40 assists. She missed a few games with a shoulder injury but was able to return to the lineup by the end of the regular season.

 

2013: Levick ended in her second season as the team’s starting shortstop, playing in 47 games with 40 starts. She put together her best game of the season in the regular-season finale, stroking two hits in as many at-bats with two runs scored and three RBI as the Stags defeated Rider University. The effort was her only multiple hit game of the season. She also picked up a hit in the Quinnipiac, Saint Peter’s, and Manhattan games. In the field, Levick posted 69 assists and added 92 putouts to her season total.

2012: Brianna Levick has been a starter for all 52 of her appearances this season, the most starts by any freshman on the team. The shortstop drove home a personal-best four runs in just her third game as a collegiate, hitting a three-run homer and adding another RBI on a grounder as the Stags defeated Gardner-Webb by a 7-4 score. She finished the regular season with two home runs, the other shot being a solo homer against Saint Peter’s. Defensively, Levick led all Stags with 92 assists and added another 87 putouts in her debut season.

Before Fairfield: Brianna Levick looks to make a contribution in her first season with the Fairfield University softball program, checking in as an infielder for the upcoming campaign. Levick becomes part of the Stags program after spending time as an infielder at Rockville High School where she earned several awards for her play. Levick was a two-time All-State player and a four-time All-Conference athlete. She also collected two berths to the All-Hartford Courant team. Levick was a .510 lifetime hitter at Rockville, a number boosted by her .540 batting average as a senior. She also finished her scholastic career with four home runs and 80 RBI. She was always among the team’s top hitters, registering 168 hits in her four years. Defensively, Levick did not commit an error in her final year. Under her guidance, Rockville captured two CCC East championships. Levick was named the high school’s female athlete of the year and earned a scholar athlete award from the U.S. Army Reserve. Levick was also a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. Levick has not chosen a major.
