Fairfield University Athletics

2025: Ava Armuth led all Fairfield freshmen in practically all offensive categories including hits (36), runs scored (21), home runs (3), and RBI (19). She posted nine multi-hit games including four three-hit performances as she garnered at least one hit in 22 of her 45 appearances. She owned a personal-best six-game hitting streak which began against Marist on April 4 and continued in a single game against Yale and all three games in the Niagara series.  Armuth posted eight RBI in a day when she brought home four runs against Lafayette and again against Canisius at the Penn State Invitational on March 8. Her numbers for that day were five hits in seven at-bats with five runs scored and eight RBI. She was as consistent regardless of opponents, hitting .278 (22 of 79) against MAAC opponents during the regular-season and .276 (13 of 47) against non-conference opponents. She earned MAAC Rookie of the Week on March 11 after batting .461 over five games at the Penn State Invitational which included a grand slam against Canisius.
