Bio Related Stats Historical Biography 2025: Anna Paravati earned the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year and collected a berth to the All-MAAC second team following the 2025 season. She posted 36 putouts and 81 assists in 121 chances this year, registering five or more assists in six games. The third baseman set a season-best with seven assists against Bethune-Cookman on February 15. Offensively, Paravati paced the Stags offense with 33 RBI, the most in a season for a Stags since Tori Reed gathered 37 and Courtney Hankins secured 34 during the 2017 campaign. Paravati drove home at least one runner in 23 games this year with seven of those contests resulting in multiple RBI. Paravati places second among her teammates with her .331 batting average as well as with 11 extra base hits (nine doubles, two triples). She opened the season with a 13-game hitting streak (17 of 40 - .425), a stretch which also included 13 RBI. Paravati posted a hit in 39 of her 52 appearances in 2025, benefiting from a six-game hitting streak (10 of 20 - .500) from March 22 to March 28 and a five gamer (8 of 18 - .444) from April 27 to May 2. She stroked two or more hits in 13 games, picking up three hits in a game five times (Canisius, Mount St. Mary’s, Merrimack, Quinnipiac, and Iona). 2024: Paravati ended the season with 27 hits which ranked fourth among her peers which included three doubles. A contact hitter, Paravati placed seventh in the nation for toughest to strikeout, fanning once every 41.3 at-bats. She started all 44 of her appearances and racked up at least one hit in 19 of those contests. The infielder added seven multiple hit games highlighted by her 3 for 3 performance in a win over Siena. She added 13 RBI and seven runs scored to her season totals. Paravati was equally effective with the glove, recording 71 assists which was the third-best total among Fairfield fielders. 2023: After starting nine of her first 22 appearances, Paravati has earned the start in each of her last 19 appearances with 16 of those nods coming at third base. She has enjoyed a solid second half of the season by batting .250 over the last 20 regular-season games (14 of 56) which includes her personal-best six-game hitting streak (April 7-14). During that stretch, she also added three RBI and a double. She put together a five-game hitting streak late in the season (April 26 to May 5) with seven hits in 15 at-bats for a 467 batting average. Paravati also recorded two multi-hit games during that five-gamer which was highlighted with two hits against Saint Peter’s and Sacred Heart. She was successful on her lone base stealing attempt, swiping second against Army West Point.
