Fairfield University Athletics

2019-20: 6-14 in singles play and 9-13 in doubles contests… picked up solo wins over Marist, Rider, Sacred Heart, Hofstra, UConn, and Colgate… scored double victories over Fordham, Rider, Boston University, Brown, Boston College, NJIT, UConn, Colgate, and Northern Kentucky… won six doubles contests alongside Lewis Edwards.

2018-19: MAAC All-Academic Team...MAAC Player of the Week...Went 15-13 in singles and 16-11 in doubles. Finished 4-2 against MAAC opponents in singles, earning wins against Rider, Niagara, Quinnipiac and Siena. Also finished 4-2 in conference play for doubles, with wins against Rider, Marist, Niagara, and Siena. Earned all but one of these conference wins with teammate Lewis Edwards, went 15-9 with Lewis as his partner.

2017-18: MAAC Player of the Week after wins in singles and doubles against Boston University…Picked up 10 singles wins, including a MAAC victory against Saint Peter’s in the No. 1 spot…Earned 13 doubles wins, highlighted by 10 with Anthony Caputo to tie the team high for a doubles tandem…Picked up four doubles wins during MAAC play.

2016-17: As a freshman, played mostly at No. 6 singles going 11-14… Had the third most wins on the team… Posted a 5-2 mark in MAAC play, the best league record on the team… In doubles play began the season partnered with Brad Orban going 7-9 at No. 1… Finished the season partnered with Dylan Appel, recording a 3-1 mark against the MAAC.

Before Fairfield: Played No. 1 Singles at Barnstable High.  Owned a perfect 25-0 record in singles team play. Was a two-time All-Scholastic Player and State Champion. Shibles' team was ranked sixth in New England. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.
