2017-18:
Placed second in the 200y IM in the Oct. 27 dual meet at Holy Cross
Placed third in the 800 SCM freestyle in the Oct. 28 dual meet win over Monmouth
Placed second in the 400 SCM IM and third in the 200 SCM freestyle and 200 SCM backstroke in the Jan. 12 dual meet win over St. Francis Brooklyn
Placed second in the 400 SCM freestyle and finished third in the 200 SCM freestyle and 200 SCM IM in the Jan. 31 dual meet win over Manhattan
Placed second in the 1000y freestyle in the Feb. 3 tri-meet at Wesleyan

2016-17: Swam his best at the MAAC Championships, recording three personal bests. In the 200 IM touched the wall in 2:02.83, in the 400 IM clocked in at 4:20.48, and in the 200 backstroke finished in 2:02.83. 

Before Fairfield: Giardiello was Co-Captain of the Saint Peters Prep swim team that was ranked in the Top 20 in the state for two years in a row. He also holds the school record in the 200 IM.
