2012-13: ECAC Qualifier … On the record-setting 800 freestyle relay at the MAAC Championships while setting personal bests in the sprint freestyle events … Finished as the runner-up in the 100 and 200 freestyles against Holy Cross … Picked up a pair of third-place finishes against Fordham. 

Before Fairfield: Spent the 2011-12 season swimming at the University of Tampa where he was named to the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ... A distance freestyler who posted top times of 1:46.68 (200 free), 4:50.07 (500 free) and 10:08.21 (1000 free) at the NSU Shark Invitational and the SSC Championships. 

High School: Earned four varsity letters at Lynnfield ... Helped team to a Cape Ann League Championship as a senior captain ... Set seven school records in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 100 back, 100 fly, and 200 IM ... Won consecutive league championships in the 50 free and 100 free ... A three-time Cape Ann League All-Star ... Named team MVP three times ... Also lettered in track and cross country ... Two-time National YMCA Long Course Championship competitor for the Burbank YMCA Bluefins ... Qualified for and competed in the 2010 National YMCA Short Course Championship.

Personal: Son of Diane and Dan Cook ... Has four siblings .... Major is mechanical engineering.
