Part of the 200y medley relay record
2015-16: At the 2016 MAAC Championships, swam three personal bests and was part of the 200y medley relay team that set the Fairfield program record…Personal bests came in the 100y backstroke (55.20), 200y backstroke (2:05.44), and 50y freestyle (22.93)…His time in the 100y backstroke ranks seventh best in program history.
Before Fairfield: Captained the Notre Dame West Haven Swimming Team during his senior season and was State Champion in the 200 Freestyle Relay at the Class M Championships that same year. Falcigno was a five time All-SCC honoree in the 50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 200 Freestyle Relay, and 200 Medley Relay. He was also a three time SCC Champion in the 100 Backstroke, 200 Freestyle Relay, and the 200 Medley Relay. In 2015, Falcigno was awarded the Swimmer of the Year at Notre Dame High School. His team also enjoyed tremendous success as they placed second overall at the Class M Championships in 2015 and placed third at the SCC Championships that same year.
Personal: Son of Edmund and Lynne Falcigno... Has one sibling, Elizabeth (21)... Major is Finance.
