2017-18

• Placed second in the 100y backstroke in the Oct. 27 dual meet at Holy Cross
• Placed second in the 100 SCM backstroke in the Oct. 28 dual meet win over Monmouth

2016-17: Set two personal bests at the MAAC Championships in the 50 freestyle (22.20) and 100 backstroke (52.64). On January 27 at Wesleyan he also set two personal bests in the 50 butterfly (25.44) and 50 backstroke (26.05). His 100 backstroke time ranks second best in program history. Also earned an 11^th place finish in the 100 backstroke at the MAAC Championships with a time of 52.64. 

2015-16: At the 2016 MAAC Championships he swam three personal bests, and was a part of the 400y medley relay team that set the Fairfield program record… All three of his individual bests sit as the second fastest times in program history… In the 100 backstroke he swam a 52.97, in the 200 backstroke he finished in 1:56.00, and in the 100 butterfly he clocked in at 51.77… He earned three top place finishes this season, in the 100 backstroke at St. Francis, in the 100 butterfly at Rider, and in the 200 backstroke at Holy Cross.

Before Fairfield: Captained the NCSA Junior National Qualifier Team.

Personal: Son of Laurie and Thomas Gormley...Has two siblings, Matthew (21) and Sarah (12)... Major is Finance.
