2024 Season: William Pierce earned a spot on the 2024 All-MAAC first team following his stellar performance during the season. He paced all Fairfield scorers with 13 points, netting five goals and adding three assists over his 17 starts. He garnered the team’s lone hat trick of 2024, scoring all three goals in a 3-1 win over Columbia which helped him garner the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week. He also added a goal in the Marist and Stonehill matches. Pierce posted an assist against LIU, Merrimack, and Canisius games. He connected on the team’s only penalty kick attempt of the season which came in the Columbia victory. His goal total tied him for ninth among all MAAC student-athletes. Pierce earned a berth to the MAAC All-Academic team for his achievement in the classroom.

2023 Season: Pierce made an impact offensively in his inaugural season with the Stags, leading the team in scoring overall with 15 points (six goals, one assist). He was second among his teammates against MAAC opponents, scoring two goals and one assist for five points. His first career Fairfield goal was the game-winner against Brown and the first of two for the freshman on the night. He followed up with another two-goal effort against Harvard. His final two goals were impactful, netting the Stags’ only goal in a 1-1 draw with Canisius and the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Saint Peter’s.
