Biography

Before Fairfield: Viggo Sjoberg played four seasons at American University before arriving on the Fairfield University campus for the 2022 season. He opened his career at American with two goals and an assist in his freshman campaign, starting 16 of his 18 appearances during the 2018 season. He remained in the lineup throughout the next three seasons, gaining entry into 25 matches over the stretch. Sjoberg added two assists to his career scoring totals which came in his junior season. He was a four-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll student-athlete.
