Fairfield University Athletics

2011: West was a regular in the lineup all season, starting with his debut as a starter against nationally-ranked Boston College in the season opener. He started against Columbia in the next game, before coming off the bench in his final nine appearances. His last five appearances all came against MAAC opponents at home. He did not post any points this year, but did take one shot against Columbia.

Before Fairfield: A top scorer at Christian Brothers Academy, West will try to bring his scholastic success  to Connecticut. West was among the team’s top scorers throughout his career, leaving CBA with 21 goals and 17 assists for 59 points. He was captain of the team that finished 18-0-0. During his career, West earned many postseason awards, incluidng the Division Player of the Year. He was earned a first-team berth to the All-Conference, All-South Jersey, and All-State teams He was selected as an adidas Region I All-American as well as one an ESPN Rise New Jersey top 10 player. He was also recognized by his coaches and teammates with the Sportsmanship Award as well as the Coach’s Award in his final year with the program. In addition to his time at CBA, West also was a member of the PDA Academy and NJSA Academy teams. He played with the Matchfit Chelsea Metro Under-20 team as well. West lists Business as his major.
