2010: Lara did not appear in any games during the 2010 campaign, but offered support as goalkeeper during the season. Lara will be in the mix for playing time in 2011, one of three returning goalkeepers on this year’s roster.

2009: Lara did not appear in any games during the season, spending time as one of the team’s reserve goalkeepers. 

Before Fairfield: Lara should challenge for playing time as a goalkeeper this season after spending four years at that position for Kolbe Cathedral High School. In his senior season, Lara earned first team All-South West Conference honors as he helped the team capture the Class S state championship as the team finished 12-6-2. Lara was named the Class final most valuable player. He was also honored by the conference as one of its Leadership Award recipients, given to an individual who shows leadership in their athletic achievements, in the classroom, school and community.
