2011:  Perkins spent time both as a starter and as a reserve this year, picking up a pair of starts midseason. The freshman received his starting nod against Canisius before earning another start in the Niagara game. He came off the bench six times, including four of the final five regular season games. He missed the Iona game during that stretch. Perkins tallied a pair of assists during the year, setting up the tying goal in the final minute of regulation at Rider and another score versus Niagara.


Before Fairfield: Perkins looks to break into the Fairfield lineup as a forward this season, sporting the credentials and experience to be successful at the position. He is a graduate of Conard High School where hwe was a member of the soccer program. During his time with the program, Perkins recorded 21 goals and 19 assists for 61 points. He was the team’s top scorer in his final two years with the program. Those numbers helped him earn several postseason honors, including All-State recognition following his senior season. He captured two All-Conference awards beginning with his junior year. His teammates also recognized Perkins for his efforts. He was given the team award presented to the most consistent player following his junior year. The following season, he was named the team’s most valuable player. He served Concard as team captain in 2010. In the classroom, Perkins received Academic All-Conference honors. Outside of high school, Perkins played with the Oakwood Soccer Club. He was one of three players in the program to make the team for 10 consecutive seasons (ages 9-18). He lists English as his major.
