Biography

Before Fairfield: Whyte helped Bassick High School gain unprecedented success during his time with the program. He helped the school reach the state tournament multiple years, the only school in Bridgeport to make the tournament two seasons in a row. He tallied 46 goals and 20 assists for 112 points during his career. He reached double digits with 17 goals and 12 assists as a senior after recording 10 goals and eight assists as a junior. A two-sport athlete, Whyte earned the school’s most valuable player award in soccer and indoor track and field. He was All-FCIAC first teamer as a senior, and served as team captain in his junior and senior campaigns. In the classroom, Whyte was a four-time honor roll student. He has not declared a major.
