Biography

2021: Nadav Zarmi capped his Fairfield career with one of his best efforts over his four seasons with the Stags. He collected 14 appearances which included seven starts with six of those starts coming in his first six matches on the pitch. Zarmi registered a pair of assists during the campaign with one coming in both MAAC and non-conference play. His first point of the season was an assist in a 2-2 draw with Army West Point while his second came after he set up a goal in a 4-1 decision over Canisius. He garnered 90 or more minutes in five games highlighted by his 102 minutes against Stony Brook.

2020-21: Zarmi was on the pitch for seven of the team’s eight dates, securing a starting role in each of those appearances. He was active up front for the Stags, taking four shots over the course of his appearances including two in the season opener against Canisius. He also added an attempt at Saint Peter’s and at Quinnipiac during the MAAC Championship. Zarmi picked up his only point of the season against Canisius, setting up the team’s second goal in the 82nd minute.

2019: Zarmi split his time between conference and non-conference play during the 2019 season. He made his first appearance as a reserve in the New Hampshire game. He returned to the lineup as a starter over the next two appearances, getting the nod against Yale and Hartford on the road. Zarmi received quality minutes in three conference games as well, securing entry against Monmouth and Siena at home before making his final appearance at Quinnipiac.

2018: Zarmi was part of a defensive unit that stifled the offenses of most Fairfield opponents, being part of the team's five shutouts in 2018. The sophomore often denied the top offensive threat of most Stags opponents and was among the team's starting group that allowed only one goal per game over the 18-game slate. Zarmi contrbiuted offensively with one goal during the season, netting the tying goal in the second half against Rider. He was highly skilled with his shot accuracy, placing five of his eight attempts on goal.

2017: Zarmi played in seven games as a rookie, coming off the bench in four non-conference games and three MAAC matches. His first collegiate appearance came against Oregon State University, a 2-1 win for Fairfield. Five of his seven games played were on the road with his two home nods coming against Temple and Monmouth. Zarmi registered two shots during the season, attempting to score at Manhattan and against Monmouth.

Before Fairfield: Zarmi attended the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering before enrolling at Fairfield University. He excelled as a back and looks to continue that success with the Stags. Off the pitch, he earned honor roll status for four years and received an award for excellence in engineering.
