2015: Castillo came off the bench in five of his appearances with his lone start coming against Florida International on the road. He played in the team’s first three games including the Florida International game. He played his final three games over a three-week run beginning with the team’s game at Manhattan. Castillo also earned time versus Siena and at Quinnipiac in late October.

Before Fairfield: Leo Castillo played at North Broward Prep where he finished his career as one of the team’s best offensive student-athletes. He put together two outstanding offensive seasons to end his career at North Broward, netting four goals and three assists as a junior before recording eight goals and 11 assists as a senior. For his efforts, Castillo was named All-Broward following the 2012, 2013 and 2015 seasons. He helped North Broward Prep capture the district championship in 2012.
