Fairfield University Athletics

2024 Season: Lenni Mierow gained entry in eight games during the 2024 season, six of which came against non-conference opponents. His two MAAC games included minutes against Saint Peter’s and Quinnipiac. His longest stint in a game was a 45-minute play at FDU on August 26. He played in back-to-back games twice during the campaign, accomplishing the task against Monmouth and FDU, as well as LIU and Vermont. He was on the pitch for both of Fairfield’s 0-0 draws with UConn and Lehigh. Mierow earned a berth to the MAAC All-Academic team for his achievement in the classroom.

2023 Season: Mierow returned to the Fairfield campus and kept the momentum going from his junior season. He played in all but one game and started 14 of his 15 appearances. He was not in the lineup for the Niagara game. The defender made an impact on the back line and was part of Fairfield’s four clean sheets. He played all 90 minutes in the FDU and Iona matches and averaged 55 minutes per appearance.

Before Fairfield: Mierow joined the Fairfield University soccer program after playing two seasons at Presbyterian College. He started his career with nine appearances in the spring of 2021 and was part of a back line that registered a shutout against Longwood and Radford. He followed up by playing in all 16 matches played in the Fall of 2021, helping the team pick up four shutouts during the campaign. He also added three assists during the season including a pair against Gardner-Webb.
