2009: Asante tallied his first career points with a pair of assists. He was credited with an assist on the team’s lone goal in a 4-1 setback against Harvard University. He followed up with another assist against MAAC foe Manhattan College. Asante applied pressure when he was inserted into the game, recording seven shots, including two attempts against Northeastern University, Manhattan, and Rider University. The forward came off the bench for 10 of his appearances, which surpassed his previous high of seven games set during the 2008 season. 

2008: Asante returned to the Fairfield roster after taking a season off in 2007. He appeared in seven games during the campaign, with six of his appearances coming as a reserve. He earned a start in his first appearance of the year, receiving the nod against Northeastern University. Asante came off the bench against Iona, Niagara, Canisius, Marist, and Siena. He managed a pair of shots, releasing one attempt against Iona and Marist.2007: Asante did not play last season, but will return for the 2008 campaign. 

2006: Asante appeared in one game, helping the Stags post a 3-1 win over Siena College. 

Before Fairfield: Asante joined the program after a successful career at St. Benedict’s Prep. During his four-year stay, the team posted two unbeaten seasons including an 18-0-1 mark in 2003. St. Benedict’s Prep was crowned the 2005 national high school champion following its perfect season, posting a 23-0 final record. Asante tallied four goals and 13 assists as a senior, which brought his scoring total to 16 goals and 36 assists for 68 total points. Off the pitch, Asante earned a place on the National Honor Society. He lists Management as his course of study at Fairfield.
