Biography

2012: Lewis appeared in 11 games last season, picking up starts in two of those outings. He garnered a start in his first collegiate game, a 1-0 win at Columbia on August 31. His next start came two games later, getting the nod against Yale at home. He came off the bench in his five appearances after Yale, picking up a point in a win against Rider. The defender set up one of the team's goals in a 3-0 victory against the Broncs, one of the four shutouts that Fairfield posted when Lewis was in the lineup.

Before Fairfield: Justin Lewis was an offensive threat during his four-year stay at Bunnell High School, just a few exits up the interstate in Stratford. Lewis averaged just over 11 goals per season through his high school career, including 17 goals in his senior campaign. He finished that year with 49 total points, adding 15 assists to his total. As a junior, Lewis netted 15 goals and tallied 12 assists for 42 points. Over his four years, Lewis registered 46 goals and 37 assists for 129 points, an average of more than 30 points per campaign. He led Bunnell to the state championship as well as the Southwest Conference title in 2011. He was All-Southwest Conference as a senior and was voted the most valuable player in the state's Senior Bowl game. Lewis lists communications as his major.
