2024 Season: Juan Pablo Leano remained a regular on the pitch, securing minutes in 14 of the team’s 17 games in 2024. He earned his first start of the season at FDU and returned to the first 11 two weeks later against the University of Vermont. He went on to start his next seven appearances, five of which were against MAAC opponents. Leano was part of a back line that posted three shutouts and allowed two goals per game during the campaign. He took two shots during the season, both coming in the Rider match with one of those being on target.

2023 Season: Leano continued to make his mark on the back line, entering 10 games in 2023 with six of those coming in the starting 11. After coming off the bench against Bryant, he followed up with starts over his next six appearance beginning at Brown on September 4 and running through Rider on September 24. He missed a couple of weeks before regaining his footing as a reserve against Marist, Siena, and Quinnipiac to close out the season. He picked up two assists during the campaign which came consecutively against LIU and Mount St. Mary’s.

Before Fairfield: Leano joins the Fairfield University soccer program after spending the 2021 campaign at FIU where he appeared in five games with the nationally-ranked Panthers. He earned one start in those five appearances, playing 67 minutes in a road game against Bowling Green. Leano also garnered minutes Central Florida, Jacksonville, UNC-Charlotte, and Clemson.
