2016: Emsley was one of the team’s top reserves in 2016, coming off the bench for 13 of his 14 appearances. He earned his one start in conference play, getting the nod in the Stags’ 2-0 win over Saint Peter’s on October 5. The midfielder played in seven of the team’s 10 conference games, missing the Monmouth game and the final two contests of the season (Canisius and Quinnipiac). Emsley was a key member of the Stags’ defensive efforts but also was effective offensively. He posted three shots during the campaign and all three forced saves by the opposition.

2015: Emsley split his game appearances as a starter and as a reserve, receiving eight starts in 2015. He began the season in the starting 11 against UMBC, Delaware, and Florida International. The midfielder put together a run of five straight games as a reserve between October 7-21, all of which came against MAAC opponents. He was effective in the middle third of the pitch but was able to help in transition offensively. Emsley tallied one goal in his freshman season, scoring the team’s second goal in the 64th minute of a 2-2 decision with Delaware.  He picked up starts in the three final regular-season games before serving as a reserve in the team’s MAAC tournament match with Iona.

2014: Emsley started all but one of his 19 games played in 2014, coming off the bench in the team's shootout win against Quinnipiac in the MAAC tournament semifinals. He was part of the top defenses in the nation as the Stags led Division I in shutout percentage in 2014 (13 shutouts in 20 games). He also contributed offensively by putting five of his 12 shots on goal (.417). He scored the game-winning goal in the team's decision over Saint Peter's, his only points of the season. Emsley missed only one game during the campaign by not playing the MAAC tournament first-round game against Rider University.

Before Fairfield: Jordan Emsley will play soccer at Fairfield University, beginning with the 2014 season. The midfielder attened Rossett School before coming to campus.
