Biography

2009: Fauchet missed part of the season with injury, but was still able to gain entry in 13 games. He started five of the team’s last six regular-season games. The midfielder played in the first five games of the season before sitting out three games. He returned to play in nine of the final 10 games. He served a dual role in the middle, contributing both offensively and defensively. He took eight shots during the year, three of which were directed on not. He made an attempt in four different contests, taking a season-high three shots against Iona.  

2008
: Fauchet was hampered by early season injuries, but recovered enough to appear in 10 games. He gained six straight starts beginning with Iona on October 3 through Niagara on October 31. He came off the bench in the final two games of the regular season. He was on the field for four of the team’s seven shutouts. Fauchet made a few offensive runs during the season, taking four shots over the 10 games. He registered an attempt against Florida Gulf Coast, two shots versus Iona, and one shot in the Boston College game. He made his season debut as a reserve against Northeastern on September 8, and did not return to the lineup until September 21 against Florida Gulf Coast.

2007
: Fauchet was team co-leader among freshmen scorers with four points, scoring a pair of goals in back-to-back games. The midfielder tallied the game-winning goal against Canisius in the 87th minute of a 2-1 decision. He followed up with the team's first goal in a 3-2 loss to Niagara, pushing the team in front just five minutes into the contest. He received his only start of the season against the Purple Eagles, coming off the bench 10 times for a total of 11 appearances. Fauchet was quite effective with two goals on just six shots. He played in 10 of the final regular-season games, missing the finale against Iona. 

Before Fairfield
: Fauchet joined the Fairfield University program after an outstanding career at Concord Carlisle High School. He finished his career with 110 career points, scoring 40 goals and 30 assists. Fauchet was the league’s top scorer as a senior. He ended his senior season by capturing the Division II Player of the Year award, in addition to collecting All-League, All-County, and All-State honors.
