Biography

2025 Season: Illia Tyrkus started all 15 of his appearances in 2025, including both Metro Conference championship tournament games. In the team’s first game of that tournament, Tyrkus posted a goal and an assist for three points in the Stags’ 4-1 win over Niagara. The effort marked the second time that he tallied three points in a match, posting the same totals in Fairfield’s 5-1 win over nationally-ranked Marist University on October 1. His seven points overall was the fifth-highest scoring total on the team in 2025 while his three goals tied for the same position among his teammates. Tyrkus finished the year with 28 shots, placing 10 on target.
