2009: Illisije earned his first nod to the All-MAAC team, garnering a second-team berth following the 2009 campaign. He spent most of his junior campaign in the starting lineup, coming off the bench only once. He was among the starting 11 in his first nine appearances before coming off the bench against Iona in mid-October. He returned to the starting lineup against Saint Peter’s and remained among the 11 for the rest of the season. He finished second among his teammates with six goals and 12 points. He had two multi-goal games, which came in back-to-back conference games – Manhattan and Rider.  Illsije also had a goal in the Mairst and Saint Peter’s games. He was the team’s top goal scorer in MAAC play with six, while his 12 points tied Jack Burridge for the team lead (four goals, four assists).  

2008: Illisije enjoyed a remarkable second half of the season offensively, scoring four goals and three assists over the last seven games. He made the move from his traditional defensive position to an offensive role midway through the season and has made the most of his transition. He ranked second on the team with 14 points this year, an even split of seven points as a starter and seven more markers as a reserve. Three of his five goals came as a reserve, while three of his four assists were recorded as a starter. He netted three game-winning goals, namely Manhattan (1-0), Rider (2-1), and Marist (3-0). He took 24 shots during the season, averaging to a goal for every five shots taken by him. He scored in eight games, as the team posted a 6-2 record when he scored a point. He started 10 of his 16 appearances last season. 

2007: Ilisije tallied three points over his 12 appearances which was the second-highest point total among freshmen. He netted the game-winning goal against Siena College in his first collegiate start, scoring in the 56th minute off a corner kick. He added an assist to his point total in the MAAC tournament semifinal, setting up the team's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Saint Peter's. Ilisije started four games during the year, all coming against MAAC foes. In addition to Siena, he also started in both meetings with Marist as well as the Saint Peter's tournament match up. 

Before Fairfield: Ilisije enjoyed success at Manalapan High School, where he earned several post-season honors. He was named the Monmouth County Player of the Year for his efforts in 2006. He also secured All-State, All-District, and All-Shore first team accolades for his senior season. In the classroom, Ilisije was inducted into the National Honor Society. .
