2017: Anderson built upon his freshman success with a solid sophomore campaign that saw the forward pick up 18 appearances. The forward started in 12 games including all but one MAAC game. His personal best run covered seven straight starts which ended in the NCAA Tournament game against New Hampshire. He challenged up front with eight shots, putting a shot on goal against Niagara and versus Rider in the MAAC tournament final. Anderson ended the season with one assist, setting up the deciding goal against Rider in the MAAC championship game. He earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2016: Andersen was a regular in the lineup throughout his rookie season, gaining entry as both a starter and a reserve. The forward opened his career with six straight starts, including his home depot against Northeastern on September 10. During that starting stretch, Andersen picked up his only point of the season, an assist in the team’s 1-1 draw with UT-Rio Grande Valley in the season opener. Anderson would come off the bench for seven of his final nine appearances, collecting starts against MAAC foes Siena and Saint Peter’s during that five-week stretch. He took three shots during the 2016 campaign, putting one attempt on goal.

Before Fairfield: Eirik Andersen begins his first season with the Stags soccer program after playing club soccer in Norway. He played fourth division in 2012 3, scoring seven goals and five assists with Lunner IF. He joined Jemaker IF in the third division from 2013-15 where he posted 17 goals and nine assists, including a personal=best 11 goals during the 2014 season. In 2016, Andersen played with Gran IL and netted three goals. His five-year total came to 27 goals and 14 assists, including 20 goals and nine assists in third division play.
