2025 Season: Drew Thompson started all 18 games played by the Stags, playing 90 or more minutes 12 times. He spent the entire game on the pitch in eight of the team’s final nine games, coming up just six minutes short in the team’s 4-1 win over Niagara in the Metro Conference quarterfinals. Thompson contributed on both sides of the pitch, contributing offensively and defensively from the midfield position. He posted one point in his first season with Fairfield, setting up a goal in the team’s win over nationally-ranked Marist in mid-October. He finished the campaign with six shots, one in each of six matches including two in the Lafayette contest.


Before Fairfield:  Thompson was a member of the Indiana University roster during the 2024 campaign but did not appear in any matches. He was a two-sport athlete at Brownsburg High School where he lettered in both soccer and basketball. He also played club soccer with Indy Eleven Academy and was a three-time USL Academy Cup Champion in 2021 and 2023 in addition to earning a spot o the All-Tournament first team.
