2010: Freeman was a member of the 2010 squad but did not earn any minutes during the regular season. He will challenge for playing time this season, one of three returning goalkeepers on this year’s roster.

2009: Freeman did not appear in any games last season, spending time as one of the team’s reserve goalkeepers. 

Before Fairfield: Freeman was a four-year letterwinner at Saint Peter’s Prep, where he earned All-County and All-League honors as a junior and as a senior. He was named the team’s captain for his senior campaign, the first goalkeeper to receive that designation in 12 seasons. He tallied one assist as a goalkeeper in his four-year career. He played club soccer with TSF Academy, starting as the program’s goalkeeper. Freeman was also selected to the Super Y League Olympic Development Program national camp. During that time, he went to the Super Y League national finals and played in the State Cup semi-finals twice.
