Biography

2016: Marshall ended his final season with the Stags by scoring two goals and adding an assist for five points, a total which placed fifth among the team’s scoring leaders. One of his two goals represented a game winner, registering both goals in a 2-1 decision over Northeastern. Marshall, who recorded a team-high 44 shots in his 16 appearances, also assisted on the team’s lone goal in a 2-1 setback to Fordham one game earlier. He averaged a shot on goal per game with 16 in as many appearances. Marshall started his last 14 appearances after coming off the bench against UT-Rio Grande Valley and Houston Baptist during the opening weekend.

2015: All-MAAC second team Marshall made quite the impression on this program after transferring to Fairfield for the 2015 campaign. The forward led all scorers with 15 points, netting a team-best seven goals and one assist. Marshall posted a point in six of his 17 appearances including six different games with at least one goal. He started this Fairfield career with two goals in a 2-2 draw with nationally-ranked (#12) UMBC. He also scored a goal against Florida International, Fordham, Army, Iona, and Saint Peter’s. Marshall registered one game-winning goal, scoring the team’s lone goal in a decision over Iona. He took a team-high 50 shots with 24 being on goal (48 percent). He recorded the team’s only penalty kick goal, which occurred in the season opener against UMBC.

Before Fairfield: Dominic Marshall comes to Fairfield after spending the last three seasons at Loyola College (Md.). The midfielder played in 38 games in three seasons as a member of the Greyhounds but only appeared in three games a year ago. As a freshman, Marshall was a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Rookie Team and earned a rookie of the week nod from the conference. He placed third on the team with five assists in 2012 which was seventh overall in the MAAC. As a sophomore, Marshall started all 15 of his appearances and was second on the team and tied for fifth in the Patriot League with five assists. He netted his first goal of 2013 against Holy Cross.  He played for the Baltimore Bohemians this past summer, picking up an assist in 11 appearances. Before coming to the United States, Marshall attended Conyers School in England.
