Fairfield University Athletics

2009: Bartholomew played in 18 games in 2009, gaining a start against Monmouth, Boston College, and Rider. He tallied a pair of goals which came in consecutive games. He posted his first goal in a 3-0 win against Marist College at home, and followed up with another goal two days later. He tallied the game-winner in the Stags 3-0 shutout of Siena College at Lessing Field. He took just four shots during the campaign, also making an attempt against Boston College and Manhattan.  

2008: After a quiet start to 2008, Bartholomew ended the season with a flourish. The sophomore, who did not score in his freshman campaign, tallied a pair of goals in the final two games of the season, giving him four points. He scored his first career goal in the win over Marist College, and followed up with the game-winning score in a 3-0 win against Siena. The two goals came off just his third and fourth shots of the season. Bartholomew became known for his defensive ability th is season. He played in 17 of the team’s 18 games, and gained a start against Monmouth, Boston College, and Rider University. Two of his three starts came at home. 

2007: Bartholomew made his Fairfield debut in the Manhattan game, the first of three appearances for the Pennsylvania native. His final two appearances came in back-to-back games later that month, getting a nod at Siena and at Marist. He also saw limited time in the midfield during the year. 

Before Fairfield: Bartholomew enjoyed a great deal of success as a member of The Shipley School soccer team. He finished his career with 42 goals and 15 assists for 99 career points. For his efforts, Bartholomew earned All-State accolades. He was a three-time All-League player as well as a two-time All-Mainline athlete.
