Biography

2021: Cormac Pike served his teammates as captain and was one of six Stags to play in all 18 games during the 2021 campaign. He earned All-MAAC first team honors for his efforts during the season, earning the nod as a defender. His ability to contribute offensively was also illustrated by his two assists which came in back-to-back games against Monmouth University and Siena College. He played 90 or more minutes in all 18 matches including a season-high 110 minutes in draws with Army West Point and Siena.

2020-21: Cormac Pike was in the starting lineup for every game during the 2020-21 season, assisting mainly in the defensive third of the pitch. He was selected to the All-MAAC squad for his performance after helping the Stags establish themselves as one of the top defensive lines in the conference. As part of the back four, Pike and his teammates allowed less than one goal per game (0.95 GAA) which included four shutouts. He also scored one goal during the season, posting the team’s first goal of the campaign in a 2-0 decision over Canisius in the season opener.

2019: Pike started 16 of his 17 appearances in 2019, coming off the bench for the Quinnipiac game. He was able to apply pressure up front for most of the season, averaging a shot per game (17 shots in 17 games). He was able to put four of those attempts on target with one of those shots finding the back of the net. Pike contributed right from the start of the season, registering an assist in the season opener against Rhode Island. He earned his second assist in the team’s third game, a 2-2 draw with Stony Brook University. Pike added one goal to his season total, netting of the team’s three goals in a 4-3 setback against Saint Peter’s. He was one of four Stags with multiple assists in the 2019 season.

2018: Pike made quite an impression during his inaugural season with the Stags, enough of one that the England native gathered MAAC All-Rookie accolades for his performance on the pitch. He provided support defensively playing in all 18 games with 17 appearances coming as a starter. The freshman posted seven points during the regular season, third among the Fairfield newcomers. He was responsible for three assists which placed second among his teammates, and added a pair of goals, both of which came in the team's 5-0 win over Canisius. Pike enjoyed one game-winning assist, setting up the game's lone goal in a win oer Manhattan.

Before Fairfield: Pike begins his first season with the Fairfield University men's soccer team after spending his scholastic career at Millfield School. He was a stand out on the pitch, scoring seven goals and eight assists during his stay at the school. As a junior, Pike registered two goals and three assists before improving on both categories with five goals and five assists as a senior. He was  a member of the Schoolboys national championship team and earned honors as a defender with the program.
