Biography

2015: MAAC All-Academic Reed was a regular during his sophomore season, securing nine starts in 13 outings. He enjoyed a run of eight consecutive starts between September 12 and October 14 with five coming against conference foes. Reed provided his teammates with solid defensive skills that resulted in four shutouts while he was on the pitch. Reed showed effort offensively as well with three shots, one each against Florida Atlantic. His reserve roles came in the UMBC, Delaware, Florida Atlantic, and Rider matches.

2014: Reed contributed as a reserve during the campaign, coming off the bench in six of his seven games on the pitch. His made his debut as a reserve against New Hampshire on September 7, the first of two appearances off the bench. He earned his first start against Rider University on October 1 before serving as a substitute against Manhattan, at Canisius, Niagara, and Quinnipiac. 

Before Fairfield: Charlie Reed joins the Fairfield University soccer team for the 2014 campaign after graduating from North Hunterdon High School. He played the sport at North Hunterdon as a defender over four seasons.
